Groove on the Green Event Attendance Policy
(this policy applies after 5pm on event days)
1. Policy Statement
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, children aged 16 and under must be always accompanied by a responsible adult during the event. All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful, courteous, and responsible manner at all times during the event.
2. Age Restrictions
- Children aged 16 and under will not be permitted entry unless accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over).
- Proof of age may be required for both the child and the accompanying adult. Acceptable forms of identification include passports, driving licences, or other government-issued identification.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry where there a child aged 16 or under is without a responsible adult.
3. Responsibility of the Accompanying Adult
- The responsible adult must remain with the child at all times and is solely responsible for their supervision, safety, and conduct.
- Each responsible adult may accompany a maximum of 4 children.
- The event organisers are not responsible for unaccompanied minors or their actions.
4. Entry and Security Procedures
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or request proof of age for any attendee.
- Any unaccompanied child will be denied entry and may be directed to an appropriate authority or waiting area until their guardian arrives.
5. Emergency Situations
- In the event of an emergency, event staff may assist in locating a responsible adult but are not responsible for unattended minors.
- Contact information for the responsible adult may be required at the point of entry.
6. Conduct of Attendees
- Antisocial behaviour or prohibited behaviours will not be tolerated. (see Appendix A)
- Where antisocial behaviour is observed, we reserve the right to remove individuals from the event.
- Where antisocial behaviour is exhibited by a minor, we reserve the right to also remove the adult accompanying them.
7. Enforcement and Compliance
- Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal from the event.
- Refunds will not be issued to attendees who are denied entry or removed due to non-compliance.
By attending this event, all attendees agree to abide by this policy.
The event organisers reserve the right to amend this policy at any time to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.

Definitions of Behaviour:
Prohibited Behaviour
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Verbal abuse, harassment, or intimidation of any kind
- Physical aggression or threats of violence
- Excessive intoxication or substance misuse
- Vandalism or intentional damage to venue property
- Disruptive behaviour that interferes with the enjoyment or participation of others
- Antisocial Behaviour
- Any form of antisocial behaviour, including but not limited to hostility, exclusionary conduct, or actions that create an unsafe or uncomfortable environment for others.
